Maurice Vesselle Brute Cuvee Reservee Grand Cru NV, Bouzy, Champagne, France

Color is a beautiful pale gold and small persistent bubbles with expressive nose showing dried and candied fruit and also butterscotch, hazelnuts and biscuits notes. Palate has high acidity and chalky minerality with a creamy texture and very long length. Dosage brut 9g/l.

From a 40 years old single plot Les Hauts Chemins. Extra Brut Champagne, pure expression of pinot noir grape with red and black fruits and delicate spices (white pepper, cinnamon and vanilla). Evolving in roasted coffee, cocoa and gingerbread. Vibrant minerality on the palate for this lmited production, a remarkable interpretation of Grand Cru of Bouzy.

Food Match - To taste from aperitif to meal, roasted loin of lamb with thyme flower.

Grand Cru NV, Bouzy, Champagne, France

Color is an elegant deep orange for a wine made only with a short maceration on the skins and like all Vesselle champagnes no malolactic fermentation occurred. On the nose ripe red fruit, blood orange, apricot, pomegranate, cassis and gingerbread. Palate is fresh with red citrus fruit and long persistence.
